Lake Water Questions:
Is there a spot to dock our boat for the week?
No, unfortunately there is only a breakwall, and extremely shallow water (less than 2'), so it is not equipped for docking.
How close is a public boat launch? Is there a place near by where we can dock our boat?
10 minute drive : Belle River Marina, 100 Lake St, Belle River, ON N0R 1A0
Can we park overnight with a boat on a trailer and vehicle?
Depending on size of boat, yes, driveway at both are equipped for this.
Can we dock a boat on the lake either during day or overnight?
These are extra fees and reservations that need to be done directly with the marina.
Is the lake swimmable?
The lake is shallow and there is no diving, but yes swimming. Rasha likes to advise to wear water shoes due to rough surface on bottom of lake.
Is there easy access to the lake?
Both properties have a waterfront break wall, with a walk down ladder for access.
Do you have kayaks, safety jackets and or paddle boards?
Yes, we have life jackets, paddle boards and kayaks.
How shallow is your water?
The water is under 2 feet deep.
General Questions:
Do we accept animals?
No.
Is the backyard fenced in?
No.
Do you have a fire pit? If so, wood or gas?
Yes, the fire pit uses wood we provide.
Do you have bbq? Gas or propane?
Yes, gas.
Do you provide firewood?
Yes.
Do you provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash?
Yes.
Do you have air conditioning?
Yes.
Do you have a hot tub?
Yes, at Fine Lake Vita/Fine Lake Studio.
Can you go fishing off the break wall?
Yes.
How many parking spots do you have?
There are three parking spots at Fine Lake Vita/Fine Lake Studio and six parking spots at Lake Vita Cottage.
Do you provide bedding and towels?
Yes.
Can you make a reservation for one night?
No.
Can you book long-term ie 30 days, 60 days, 6 months?
Yes.
Can we have you do an arrangement set up ie balloons, flowers, etc before arrival to surprise a spouse birthday, anniversary etc?
Yes.
Can we check in early/check out late?
Yes, it needs to be privately arranged ahead of time.
Proximity to grocery stores and restaurants?
Within a ten minute drive.
Is it ok to have a few more people over the limit?
Yes, but there is a fee.
Do you accept gatherings?
Yes, with permits and permissions.
Is the studio/loft separate from the house?
Yes.
